Lichess vs chess com reddit

Lichess ratings are significantly easier to get/hold in my experience. Ratings are all just relative, so maybe lichess just attracts more casual players. Also due to lichess's entry level being 1500 if you are around that rating you will be playing more new players, and could be winning some easy games more often.

What I'm confused about is the fact that Chess.com says that in Blitz my percentile rank is 64.1%. My rating is around 1024. On Lichess percentile rank is most commonly about 44% as of the last few months.If you look at the lichess blitz rating distributions, you can see 11% of players are 1200 or below. 11% seems like a reasonable size for a beginner group. I am a low rated player of about 1600 on lichess and 1350 on Chess.com. In order to improve my game recently, I decided to use one of the amazing plug-ins mentioned in one of the posts a couple of weeks ago. The results on chess.com were amazing.
