Mahindra 4110 problems

Some time ago I read someone else had this problem and made a mental note to check it. I finally got tired of the pull, hold, and hope of reverse shifting. It was worse when tilting the steering column forward. With all the plowing this month, lots of shifting, so about 2 weeks ago I crawled underneath the left footrest and adjusted the jambnuts.

Never had any major issues that was the tractors fault. I did break a PTO gear while bush hogging but that was my fault by using too strong of a bolt as a shear pin. Lesson learned. Mostly just for putting out hay to the horses. 4110 has trouble picking up a round bail of hay. As I said, hydralics are weak. Brush-hog when the PTO wants to work. Back-hoe is useless.
