Also make sure you aren't screwing the cart in too tightly. This can press the silicone ring to the point that you have metals touching where they shouldn't, giving you the same issue. Vari flow carts have a little vent on the bottom of the cart, you can open and close to increase or decrease air flow and it’s good for thinner oils to prevent the cart from leaking if you the keep the air flow vent closed most of the way.
