Seamoth stuck on land

Sep 28, 2016 · September 2016. I once beached my Seamoth on the Mountain Island. Used the Propulsion Cannon to pick up one of the bigger rocks and nudge the Seamoth back into the water. Damaged it in the process, but it was good to sail again after some repairs. The Aurora probably has wreckage big enough for that purpose, too.

As soon as you see a couple missing squares of ground, just dive down and you should end up under the map. But you could try building nearby the Seamoth (save before attempting) to see if you can "dig" that way. Keep in mind this will permanently alter the terrain. You cannot turn off the beacon and this is a known clipping issue that should eventually be fixed.

Turned out when the chunk wasn't loaded it fell into the water and was stuck under the ground. And I don't save often so I was screwed over a seamoth. My Seamoth got stuck in the island once. All you have to do is get floaters, get as close to the island as possible, and release them. It should attach to the Seamoth and make the it jump out of the island. You may have to repair it a bit, but you will have it back. My personal preference is to leave the Seamoth at 200m and then dive for fragments, but there's two other options (not spoiling unless you want me to) if that's not your style.
