Sortgroup addon

SortGroup addon bugged? I can't heal when the group isn't sorted because I get confused with the target arena 1 and 2 macros, but the SortGroup addon seems to break the UI, e.g. I cannot upgrade my gear when it is active. Is there some other alternative addon I can use? It has nothing to do with SortGroup, it's a bug in the game itself.
