Synology failed to apply the settings

OK, so here are the details and what I've tried so far: Source NAS: At work Destination NAS; at home Hyper backup's on source/work NAS not working. Have tried restarting both the home and work NAS computers.

But as it is impossible to do so (strange that Synology made such a mess with these settings) I went to the next tab (Interface) and there I was able to change the LAN options (through the Edit button). I am able to select the new drive from the wizard under Storage Pool > Action > Repair. It's when clicking next and confirming the warning message about the new drive being erased that this message pops up. "Failed to apply the settings" error message.
