Fishing in Warframe might seem simple on the surface but has a surprising amount of complexity. Certain fish only show up during certain times of day, when fishing at a fishing hotspot, and when using certain bait, among many other factors. If you’re looking to get a certain fish, it can take quite a bit of preparation to catch it finally.

I have seen all caves of Orb Vallis and have fished in them if possible. In general they are the go to places if you want to experience bugs considering fishing. Some examples: Luminos dye disappears right before hitting the water. Fish ignoring luminos dye and refusing to glow. Fishing spear doesn't connect with fish.Ocean Hotspots. Xbox One. Yeah personally deimos' fish spawning has been more annoying than orb vallis or plains. Most of the time for me I'll sit at a hotspot for 5-10 minutes of nothing spawning and throwing in fass/vome residues do nothing. Fishing in other open worlds I see fish spawn basically as soon as I go to a hotspot and pull out a fishing spear.Best. Fishing does appear to be broken to me. Always go fishing with a smeeta and it may 2-3x your catches. If you can wait you should also wait for a daily res booster then you catch insane amounts of fish. If you want an easier time seeing hot spots get up high, either climb up on rocks and stuff or use your archwing. You should easily be able to see the bubble rings.

Make sure you check the wiki so that you ate in the right locations with the right bait.
