What size align tank should i get

I purchased the align tank in my true to size (TTS) 4 and one size up 6. The TTS fit better for me. The one size up personally was too loose in the straps area, but the body of the tank fit similar in both for my body type. Also I preferred the black over the white.

I typically wear a size 6 in bras and 4 in many tops, and I have tried the align tank in 6 and find the fit kind of off. Not egregiously bad, but definitely not worth the hype here. This comment chain has inspired me to try a size 8 though and see if somehow that makes it awesome, though I wonder if that'll ruin the fit in the waist and chest.
